Then the moon shall be astonished, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

And Miriam answered them, Sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.

Cry out and shout, you inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of you.

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the broken place of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.

Your eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who announces peace; who brings good tidings of good, who announces salvation; who says to Zion, Your God reigns!

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light to you: but the LORD shall be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.

Your sun shall no more go down; neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.

It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

But the saints of the most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes.

The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

And saviors shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

And I will make her who limped a remnant, and her who was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from this time forwards, even for ever.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be bright, nor dark:

But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt the foal of a donkey.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

But you have come to mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on mount Zion, and with him a hundred forty four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

And the twenty four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

And I heard a sound like the voice of a great multitude, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God made it bright, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
