And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and those who raised the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are your servants, and will do all that you shall tell us; we will not make any king: do that which is good in your eyes.
And when they had called to the king, there came out to them Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder.
Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, to Rab-shakeh, Speak, I pray you, to your servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and do not talk with us in the Jews’ language in the ears of the people that are on the wall.

And over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
