But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and as the garments of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under foot.

And you shall speak to him, saying, Thus says the LORD, Have you killed, and also taken possession? And you shall speak to him, saying, Thus says the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick your blood, even yours.

Him that dies of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dies in the field shall the birds of the air eat.

Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take him up, and leave him in the allotment of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how, when I and you rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him;

Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

He shall be buried with the burial of a donkey, dragged and thrown out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

And it was so, when they came into the midst of the city, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah slew them, and threw them into the midst of the pit, he, and the men that were with him.

Now the pit in which Ishmael had thrown all the dead bodies of the men whom he had slain because of Gedaliah, was the one which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha king of Israel: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with those who were slain.

Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and those who are thrust through in her streets.

Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living.

And they shall not lie with the mighty among the uncircumcised who are fallen, who have gone down to the land of darkness with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
