Those who see you shall look at you intently, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that shook kingdoms;

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

So that none of all the trees by the waters shall exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the lower parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with those who go down to the pit.

I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I threw him down to the land of darkness with those who descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the lower parts of the earth.

Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living.

The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; who says in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in you, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell.

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshiped his image. These both were thrown alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
