The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

In the twenty seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.

In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.

So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his place.

Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign.

And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.

Now the rest of the deeds of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write.

Jotham was twenty five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.

Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not do that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:

And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

Then you spoke in vision to your holy one, and said, I have granted help to one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.

In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, Thus says the LORD, Set your house in order: for you shall die, and not live.

O Zion, that brings good tidings, go up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say to the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord himself sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, Do not listen to the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

The word of the LORD that came to Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
