That would be far from you to do in this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that would be far from you: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, you wife of Jeroboam; why do you pretend yourself to be another? for I am sent to you with heavy tidings.
And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
For, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and brass walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
Then shall you say to them, Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David’s throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.
Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and throw them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, to the lower parts of the earth, with those who go down into the pit.

But according to your hardness and impenitent heart you store up for yourself wrath for the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
And Samuel said to Saul, You have done foolishly: you have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which he commanded you: for now would the LORD have established your kingdom over Israel for ever.
And Samuel said, Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
Then said Samuel, Bring here to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came to him hopefully. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
And Samuel said, As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women. And Samuel cut Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.
