To be a memorial to the children of Israel, that no stranger, who is not of the descendents of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: therefore it is necessary that this man have something also to offer.

Which was a representation of the present time, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices that could not make him who did the service perfect with respect to the conscience;
