They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made themselves a molten calf, and have worshiped it, and have sacrificed to it, and said, These be your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and those who murmured shall learn doctrine.

Go off the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

But I have prayed for you, that your faith does not fail: and when you are converted, strengthen your brethren.

If I must glory, I will glory in the things which concern my weaknesses.

Of such a one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, except in my weaknesses.

You know how through weakness of the flesh I preached the gospel to you at the first.

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Who was formerly a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

Therefore in all things it was necessary for him to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

For we have not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses; but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

For the law makes men high priests who have weaknesses; but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

Brethren, if any of you errs from the truth, and one converts him;

For you were like sheep going astray; but have now returned to the Shepherd and Leader of your souls.

And yet they would not listen to their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not do so.
