The LORD has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so send I you.

Then said he to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and see my hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into my side: and do not be faithless, but believing.

And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names altogether was about a hundred and twenty,)

And if some of the branches are broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

It has pleased them truly; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in fleshly things.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers:

Even us, whom he has called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?

To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all sharers of that one bread.

And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be a sharer in it with you.

And our hope for you is steadfast, knowing, that as you are sharers in the sufferings, so shall you also be in the consolation.

While by the trustworthiness of this ministry they glorify God for your professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and for your generous distribution to them, and to everyone;

That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and sharers in his promise in Christ by the gospel:

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, plead with you to walk worthy of the calling with which you are called,

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit to be sharers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, merciful compassion, kindness, humility of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

That you would walk worthy of God, who has called you to his kingdom and glory.

I solemnly instruct you by the Lord that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren.

Therefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

To which he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.

And those who have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.

Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Consider what I say; and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,

And having a high priest over the house of God;

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

And I plead with you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter to you in few words.

For both he that sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one nature: for which reason he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Therefore in all things it was necessary for him to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Be careful, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast until the end;

Where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, made a high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek.

For such a high priest was suited to us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

For the law makes men high priests who have weaknesses; but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

And for this reason he is the mediator of the new covenant, that by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, those who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:

The elders who are among you I urge, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Rejoice over her, heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged you on her.
