After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.

And you, Solomon my son, be sure you know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts: if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off for ever.

Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we do not desire the knowledge of your ways.

Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

With my whole heart have I sought you: O let me not wander from your commandments.

So that a man shall say, Truly there is a reward for the righteous: truly he is a God that judges in the earth.

Because they did not believe in God, and did not trust in his salvation:

For all this they sinned still, and did not believe because of his wondrous works.

The wicked works a deceitful work: but to him that sows righteousness shall be a sure reward.

I love those who love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Incline your ear, and come to me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established.

O generation, see the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? a land of darkness? why do my people say, We are lords; we will come no more unto you?

And the LORD said to Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be before they believe me, for all the signs which I have shown among them?

And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, Because you did not believe me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.

Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Moreover when you fast, do not be, like the hypocrites, of a sad appearance: for they make their faces unsightly, that they may appear to men to fast. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.

And these signs shall follow those who believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

But rather seek the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added to you.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing back; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by me.

I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you do not believe that I am he, you shall die in your sins.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision profits anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.

Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he looked to the recompense of the reward.

Be careful, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

For to us was the gospel preached, as well as to them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter in because of unbelief:

For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by which we draw near to God.

Therefore he is able also to save to the greatest extent those who come to God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

Therefore even more, brethren, be diligent to make your calling and election secure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:

And besides this, making every effort, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found by him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The LORD recompense your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to trust.
