And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred twenty years.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his descendents for ever.

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

And he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

However when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

Moses therefore gave you circumcision; (not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers;) and you on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

We know that God spoke to Moses: as for this fellow, we do not know where he is from.

And we declare to you glad tidings, how the promise which was made to the fathers,

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he presented and testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoring all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall your descendents be named:

For by it the elders obtained a good report.

See that you do not refuse him that speaks. For if they did not escape who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:

For if the word spoken by angels was firmly established, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard him;

And Moses truly was faithful in all his house, as a servant, as a testimony of those things which were to be spoken afterwards;

For if Jesus had given them rest, then he would not afterward have spoken of another day.

So also Christ did not glorify himself to be made a high priest; but he who said to him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee.

For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
