And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters on the earth, to destroy all flesh, in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
A window shall you make to the ark, and a cubit above shall you extend it; and the door of the ark shall you set in the side of it; with lower, second, and third stories shall you make it.
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the birds of the air; for it grieves me that I have made them.
For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy off of the face of the earth.
And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get honor over Pharaoh, and over all his army, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.
I, even I, am he who comforts you: who are you, that you should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made like grass;
For this is as the waters of Noah to me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
And say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
It is he who builds his upper chambers in the heavens, and has established his multitude in the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
By faith Noah, being warned by God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Which at one time were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being built, in which a few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
