And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a great mourning to the Egyptians: therefore the name of it was called Abel-mizraim, which is beyond Jordan.

I pray you, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that pleasant mountain, and Lebanon.

Go up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with your eyes: for you shall not go over this Jordan.

And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fortified cities, and of country villages, even to the great stone of Abel, on which they set down the ark of the LORD: which stone remains to this day in the field of Joshua, the Beth-shemite.
