And said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, pass not away, I pray you, from your servant:

And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to your brother Esau, and also he is coming to meet you, and four hundred men with him.

And Esau said, Let me now leave with you some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What is the need for it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.

And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him as wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

And it shall come to pass in the increase, that you shall give the fifth part to Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for those of your households, and for food for your little ones.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which did not become Pharaoh’s.

But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shall you bring into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.

Then she said, Let me find favor in your sight, my lord; because you have comforted me, and because you have spoken kindly to your handmaid, though I be not like unto one of your handmaidens.
