But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, you are but a dead man, for the woman which you have taken; for she is a man’s wife.

And God said to him in a dream, Yea, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart; for I also withheld you from sinning against me: therefore I did not let you touch her.

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said to him, What have you done to us? and what have I offended you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? you have done deeds to me that ought not to be done.

And Abraham said to his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray you, your hand under my thigh:

And it came to pass, as she spoke to Joseph day by day, that he did not consent to her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

You shall be over my house, and according to your word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than you.

And Joseph said to them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God:

And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.

And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said to David, The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

But the former governors that had been before me were costly to the people, and had taken from them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bore rule over the people: but so I did not, because of the fear of God.

And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

For destruction from God was a terror to me, and because of his greatness I could not endure.

Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight: that you might be justified when you speak, and be blameless when you judge.

You shall not commit adultery.

So is he that goes in to his neighbor’s wife; whoever touches her shall not be innocent.

But he who commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding: he that does it destroys his own soul.

And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: he who pleases God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will remove you off of the face of the earth: this year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the LORD.

All who found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We do not offend, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.

And the man that commits adultery with another man’s wife, even he that commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

If a soul sins, and commits a trespass against the LORD, and lies to his neighbor in that which was delivered to him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or has deceived his neighbor;

But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

But he who did not know, and committed things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For to whomever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Moreover it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.

Not stealing, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

Marriage is honorable for all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Whoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.
