And he turned to her by the way, and said, Come, I pray you, let me come in to you; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law). And she said, What will you give me, that you may come in to me?
And he said, What pledge shall I give you? And she said, Your signet ring, and your bracelets, and your staff that is in your hand. And he gave it to her, and came in to her, and she conceived by him.
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light.
But it came to pass some time later, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not permit him to go in.
