After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.

And God said to him in a dream, Yea, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart; for I also withheld you from sinning against me: therefore I did not let you touch her.

And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this you have done to me? did I not serve with you for Rachel? why then have you tricked me?

And he said, Appoint me your wages, and I will give it.

And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said to him, Be careful that you do not speak to Jacob either good or bad.

It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spoke to me last night, saying, Be careful that you do not speak to Jacob either good or bad.

Thus have I been twenty years in your house; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your cattle: and you have changed my wages ten times.

And it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt by them came, they said to us over and over, From all places from which you shall return to us they will be upon you.

Have you not made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions are increased in the land.

These ten times have you reproached me: you are not ashamed that you act like strangers to me.

He has fenced up my way so that I cannot pass, and he has set darkness in my paths.

For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the descendents of the wicked shall be cut off.

And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.

No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from me, says the LORD.

And in all matters of wisdom and understanding that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and you shall eat, and not be satisfied.

Thus says the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the edge of the robe of him who is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not heard and obeyed my voice;
