And Jacob loved Rachel; and said, I will serve you seven years for Rachel your younger daughter.

And he went in also to Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven more years.

And Laban said to Jacob, What have you done, that you have stolen away unawares to me, and taken away my daughters, as captives taken with the sword?

And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Perhaps you would take your daughters from me by force.

And you know that with all my power I have served your father.
