Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born to him that is a hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
Then shall you say in your heart, Who has begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and wandering to and fro? and who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where were they?
Sing, O barren, you who did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who did not labor in childbirth: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, says the LORD.
Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive offspring, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
