Now therefore restore to the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for you, and you shall live: and if you do not restore her, know you that you shall surely die, you, and all that are yours.

When I say to the wicked, You shall surely die; and you do not give him warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.

He who speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself; but he who prophesies edifies the church.

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

And Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpeh, and I will pray for you to the LORD.

And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Do not cease to cry unto the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.
