And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as you come to Zoar.

That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.

And he said to him, See, I have accepted you concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for which you have spoken.

The sun was risen on the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

Now therefore let me alone, that my anger may grow hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of you a great nation.

Thus says the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, Do not destroy it; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

From the cry of Heshbon even to Elealeh, and even to Jahaz, have they spoken their voice, from Zoar even to Horonaim, like a heifer three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim shall be desolate.

And he could do there no mighty work, except that he laid his hands upon a few sick people, and healed them.

And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.

If we do not believe, yet he remains faithful: he cannot deny himself.

In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began;
