And when the morning rose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take your wife, and your two daughters, which are here, so that you are not consumed in the iniquity of the city.
And Lot went out, and spoke to his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Get up, and leave this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked to his sons in law.
And while he lingered, the men laid hold on his hand, and on the hand of his wife, and on the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful to him: and they brought him forth, and set him outside the city.
And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth away, that he said, Escape for your life; look not behind you, neither stay in all the plain; escape to the mountain, so that you will not be consumed.
(For he says, I have heard you in a time that is accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not sharers in her sins, and that you do not receive of her plagues.
