Galatians 5:11

And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? Then has the offense of the cross ceased.

And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both houses of Israel, for a trap and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Paul wanted to have him go with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

And they are informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they should not circumcise their children, nor walk according to the customs.

Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teaches all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and has polluted this holy place.

For the preaching of the cross is to those who perish foolishness; but to us who are saved it is the power of God.

But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness;

And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour?

But not even Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been plainly presented among you as crucified?

But as then he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.

As many as desire to make a pleasing show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; but only so that they do not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

From this time on let no one trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
