But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

And whoever remains in any place where he lives, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with animals, besides the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

And all those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with animals, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.

Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwells at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man has, and not according to what he has not.

Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.
