On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven officers that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,
And Haman said to king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom; and their laws are different from all people; neither do they keep the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s benefit to leave them alone.
And now will I show you the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.
And when he came, the Jews who came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and brought many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now have come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is thrown down, who accused them before our God day and night.
