The word of the LORD came clearly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.
Then I came to those of the captivity at Tel-abib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, like the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.
Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, before he who had escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no longer dumb.
In the twenty fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was stricken, in the very same day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me there.
And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.
The word of the LORD that came to Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
