And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them instruction for the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not listened to me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
These be the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.
And said to him, If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning you: and in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone.
And the LORD said to Moses, Behold, your days approach that you must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him instruction. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.
This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which came beforehand concerning you, that you by them might wage a good warfare;
I solemnly instruct you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
I solemnly instruct you in the sight of God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate delivered a good testimony;
Instruct those who are rich in this world, that they be not proud, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
