And for the gate of the court shall be a hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, fashioned with needlework: and their pillars shall be four, and their sockets four.
And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and an embroidered coat, a mitre, and a waistband: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
And you shall take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and clothe him with the curious waistband of the ephod:
He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be clothed with a linen waistband, and with the linen mitre shall he be dressed: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire has consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
