And she spoke to him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which you have brought to us, came in unto me to mock me:

And the king said, And where is your master’s son? And Ziba said to the king, Behold, he remains at Jerusalem: for he said, Today shall the house of Israel restore to me the kingdom of my father.

And he has slandered your servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what is good in your eyes.

He who secretly slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that has a high look and a proud heart will I not allow.

What shall be given to you? or what shall be done to you, you false tongue?

He that does not backbite with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor.

Do not deliver me over to the will of my enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

False witnesses rose up; they accused me of things that I knew not.

Keep far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous do not slay: for I will not justify the wicked.

He that hides hatred with lying lips, and he that speaks a slander, is a fool.

He who speaks truth declares righteousness: but a false witness deceit.

A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will speak lies.

A wicked doer gives heed to false lips; and a liar gives ear to a corrupt tongue.

An ungodly witness scorns justice: and the mouth of the wicked devours iniquity.

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaks lies shall not escape.

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaks lies shall perish.

A false witness shall perish: but the man that hears speaks constantly.

Do not be a witness against your neighbor without a cause; and do not deceive with your lips.

For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my companions watched for my downfall, saying, Perhaps he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

You shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

You shall not go up and down as a talebearer among your people: neither shall you be hostile to the blood of your neighbor: I am the LORD.

And Zacchaeus stood, and said to the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore to him fourfold.

And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said to them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

Does our law judge any man, before it hears him, and knows what he does?

And not rather, (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose condemnation is just.

Therefore putting away lying, let everyone speak truth with his neighbor: for we are members of one another.

Neither shall you bear false witness against your neighbor.

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, without self control, fierce, despisers of those who are good,

Having a good conscience; that, although they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed who falsely accuse your good conduct in Christ.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now have come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is thrown down, who accused them before our God day and night.
