And if one man’s ox hurts another’s, that he dies; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.
If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
If fire breaks out, and catches in thorns, so that the stacks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
If the wicked returns the pledge, gives back what he had robbed, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
