But if the ox was accustomed to push with his horn in time past, and it has been testified to his owner, and he has not kept it in, but it has killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and its owner also shall be put to death.

And surely your blood of your lives will I require; from the hand of every beast will I require it, and from the hand of man; from the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.

If an ox gores a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall surely be stoned, and its flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be free.

If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatever is laid upon him.

Or if it be known that the ox has been accustomed to push in time past, and his owner has not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.
