And if any injury follows, then you shall give life for life,

And if a man causes a blemish in his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him;

Bruise for bruise, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he has caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.

Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall surely be put to death.

And your eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
