Even by the God of your father, who shall help you; and by the Almighty, who shall bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

The sons of Moses were, Gershom, and Eliezer.

And the sons of Eliezer were, Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had no other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.

​I will love you, O LORD, my strength.

He delivers me from my enemies: yea, you lift me up above those that rise up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man.

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

​God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

And Pharaoh said unto him, Depart from me, look out for yourself, see my face no more; for in that day that you see my face you shall die.

Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

And she bore him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a foreign land.

And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: seeing that before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, have I done no hurt.

And when Peter came to himself, he said, Now I know for certain, that the Lord has sent his angel, and has delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

Then Moses fled at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Midian, where he begot two sons.

Nevertheless the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
