And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning until the evening.

Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that you have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.

An altar of earth you shall make unto me, and shall sacrifice thereon your burnt offerings, and your peace offerings, your sheep, and your oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come to you, and I will bless you.

And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he did not lay his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it outside the camp, far off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one who sought the LORD went out to the tabernacle of the congregation, which was outside the camp.

I ate no pleasant food, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

And Moses said to Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law, We are journeying to the place of which the LORD said, I will give it to you: come with us, and we will do you good: for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.

And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

And when one of those who sat at dinner with him heard these things, he said to him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

Behold Israel according to the flesh: are not those who eat of the sacrifices sharers in the altar?

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: you cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

And there you shall eat before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice in all that you put your hand unto, you and your households, in which the LORD your God has blessed you.

And you shall offer peace offerings, and shall eat there, and rejoice before the LORD your God.
