And they returned, and came to En-mishpat, which is Kadesh, and struck all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezon-tamar.
And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, during their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of the Jordan.
