And Pharaoh’s servants said to him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed?
And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: he who pleases God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no longer drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps to you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until you perish off of this good land which the LORD your God has given you.
And Saul said, I will give her to him, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Therefore Saul said to David, You shall this day be my son in law in one of the two.
So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to its own place, that it does not kill us, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.
