For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

And now, fellow believers, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

You have neither part nor lot in this matter: for your heart is not right in the sight of God.

Now the works of the flesh are plain, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of which I tell you in advance, as I have also told you in time past, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as is fitting for saints;

Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, unsanctified passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry,

For the love of money is the root of all manner of evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Instruct those who are rich in this world, that they be not proud, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;

Marriage is honorable for all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

When I saw among the spoils a desirable Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.
