For your word’s sake, and according to your own heart, have you done all these great things, to make your servant know them.

He has distributed, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.

The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

A righteous man regards the life of his animal: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

The discretion of a man delays his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

The desire of a man to do good is accounted as his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.

The righteous perishes, and no man takes it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, Put now these old rags and decayed clothes under your armpits under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

And the uncivilized people showed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

Be kindly affectioned to one another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;

Love suffers long, and is kind; love neither envies nor boasts, love is not proud,

To whom you forgive anything, I forgive also: for if I forgave anything, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes I forgave it in the person of Christ;

So that on the contrary you ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, so that he will not perhaps be swallowed up with too much sorrow.

By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by genuine love,

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Behold, we consider them happy who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the purpose of the Lord; that the Lord is full of compassion, and of tender mercy.

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
