On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
Behold that which I have seen: it is good and pleasant for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor that he does under the sun all the days of his life, which God gives him: for it is his portion.
In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also has appointed the one along with the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
