And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave to my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him.

Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.

And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither did I tell any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any animal with me, except the animal that I rode on.

And he spoke before his kindred and the army of Samaria, and said, What are these feeble Jews doing? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they finish in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?

So we built the wall; and all the wall was repaired even to the half of it: for the people had a mind to work.

Before I go from where I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;

A land of darkness, like darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where even the light is as darkness.

They spend their days in prosperity, and in a moment go down to the grave.

For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?

Say not to your neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it by you.

If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree falls toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there shall it be.

In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hand: for you know not which shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the remainder of my years.

And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.

And Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

They said to him, Because no man has hired us. He said to them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatever is right, that shall you receive.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had.

I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.

Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear: for he is doing the work of the Lord, as I also am.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? So run, that you may obtain it.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so I fight, not as one who beats the air:

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;

And let it be, when these signs have come unto you, that you do as occasion serves you; for God is with you.
