Watch your foot when you go to the house of God, and be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they do not consider that they do evil.

Immediately therefore I sent to you; and you have done well that you have come. Now therefore we are all present here before God, to hear all things that are commanded you by God.
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
What? Do you not have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise the church of God, and shame those who have not? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.
