And he said to him, Did not my heart go with you, when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?

And when he was in affliction, he pleaded with the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

A man has joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken at the right time, how good it is!

Prepare your work outside, and make it fit for yourself in the field; and afterwards build your house.

And I applied my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this hard toil has God given to the sons of man to be occupied with.

Therefore I hated life; because the work that is done under the sun is distressful to me: for all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

I sought in my heart to give myself to wine, yet acquainting my heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.

I said in my heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also has appointed the one along with the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

They cried out there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he has passed the time appointed.

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and cloudy. O you hypocrites, you can discern the face of the sky; but can you not discern the signs of the times?
