Rejoice, O young man, in your youth; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes: but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit of it, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her; and he did eat.

That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took wives for themselves of all which they chose.

And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from you, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry you where I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find you, he shall slay me: but I your servant fear the LORD from my youth.

If my step has turned out of the way, and my heart walked after my eyes, and if any blot has clung to my hands;

So I gave them up to their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, while the evil days do not come, nor the years draw near, when you shall say, I have no pleasure in them;

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

And whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labor: and this was my portion of all my labor.

I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

I said in my heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also has appointed the one along with the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

They still say to those who despise me, The LORD has said, You shall have peace; and they say to every one who walks according to the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

But they did not listen, or turn their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

It is good for a man that he bears the yoke in his youth.

But the soul that does anything presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproaches the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

And it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that you do not seek after your own heart and your own eyes, which you use after their inclination to go a whoring:

And the angel of the LORD said to him, Why have you struck your donkey these three times? behold, I went out to withstand you, because your way is perverse before me:

But I say to you, That whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have plenty of goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

Who in times past allowed all nations to walk in their own ways.

And as he reasoned concerning righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go your way for now; when I have a convenient season, I will call for you.

But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Therefore judge nothing before the time until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make known the intentions of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise from God.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; so that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to what he has done, whether it is good or bad.

And it comes to pass, when he hears the words of this curse, that he blesses himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of my heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:

And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this comes the judgment:

When I saw among the spoils a desirable Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.

But the heavens and the earth, which now are, by the same word are kept in store, reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
