How your garments are warm, when he quiets the earth by the south wind?

Out of the south comes the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.

For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves thereof.

He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; to the place from which the rivers come, there they return again.

As you do not know what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so you do not know the works of God who makes all.

But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was in danger of being broken.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will compare him to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock:

And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
