For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow.
And to man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Then said I in my heart, As it happens to the fool, so it happens even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity.
For all his days are sorrows, and his toil grief; yea, his heart does not take rest in the night. This is also vanity.
Do not be righteous too much; neither make yourself overly wise: why should you destroy yourself?
