But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn to your fathers, has the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

And while he lingered, the men laid hold on his hand, and on the hand of his wife, and on the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful to him: and they brought him forth, and set him outside the city.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.

He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.

For they did not get the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but your right hand, and your arm, and the light of your countenance, because you showed them favor.

You are my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.

And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? that you shall say to him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

And Moses said to the people, Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

I am the LORD your God, who have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them, I will multiply your descendents as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give to your descendents, and they shall inherit it forever.

Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will take you out of their forced labor, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

Since you were precious in my sight, you have been honorable, and I have loved you: therefore will I give men for you, and people for your life.

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD; I do not do this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the heathen, to which you went.

For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of servants; and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

I have loved you, says the LORD. Yet you say, How have you loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? says the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.

As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his descendents for ever.

Concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but concerning the selection, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.

Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them and to their descendents after them.

Only the LORD had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their descendents after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days for ever.

Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in your hand: and they sat down at your feet; every one shall receive of your words.

But the LORD has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as you are this day.

Or has God attempted to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

And because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their descendents after them, and brought you out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;

I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

We love him, because he first loved us.

For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it has pleased the LORD to make you his people.
