But thus shall you deal with them; you shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their sculptured images with fire.

And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.

And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.

For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and broke down the images, and cut down the groves:

You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works: but you shall completely overthrow them, and fully break down their images.

And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and scattered it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

But you shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:

And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.

You shall make for yourself no idols nor sculptured image, neither raise up a standing image, neither shall you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down to it: for I am the LORD your God.

Then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and completely pull down all their high places:

You shall not plant for yourselves a grove of any trees near to the altar of the LORD your God, which you shall make for yourselves.

Neither shall you set up for yourselves any image; which the LORD your God hates.

The sculptured images of their gods shall you burn with fire: you shall not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto you, lest you be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD your God.

And I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I threw the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.
