And see among the captives a beautiful woman, and have a desire for her, that you would have her as your wife;

And his soul clung to Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spoke kindly to the damsel.

And Hamor talked with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longs for your daughter: I pray you give her to him as wife.

That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took wives for themselves of all which they chose.

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.

Lust not after her beauty in your heart; neither let her take you with her eyelids.

But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

When you go forth to war against your enemies, and the LORD your God has delivered them into your hands, and you have taken them captive,

Then you shall bring her home to your house; and she shall shave her head, and cut her nails;
