When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses, and chariots, and a people more than you, be not afraid of them: for the LORD your God is with you, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me?

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.

Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he has made in the earth.

I am the LORD your God, who have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help; and rely on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you.

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Therefore, behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

And they shall be like mighty men, who tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be put to shame.

And if you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.

He has not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither has he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.

What shall we then say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Then I said to you, Do not dread, neither be afraid of them.

For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the works of your hand: he knows your walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.

And it shall be, when you have come near unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people,

And shall say to them, Hear, O Israel, you approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be terrified because of them;

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that goes with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.

And the LORD, he it is that goes before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed.

When the LORD your God shall bring you into the land to which you go to possess it, and has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you;

You shall not be afraid of them: but shall well remember what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh, and to all Egypt;

You shall not be afraid before them: for the LORD your God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

Understand therefore this day, that the LORD your God is he who goes over before you; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before your face: so shall you drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD has said to you.

There shall not any man be able to stand before you all the days of your life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with you: I will not fail you, nor forsake you.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

And Joshua did to them as the LORD told him: he hamstrung their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

And the angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor.

And the LORD said to him, Surely I will be with you, and you shall strike the Midianites as one man.

And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
