Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, says the LORD of hosts.

And Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I plead with you.

And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again to Balak, and say thus.

And the LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said, Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak.

And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

And they asked him, What then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you that prophet? And he answered, No.

And they asked him, and said to him, Why do you baptize then, if you are not that Christ, nor Elijah, neither that prophet?

Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

He who rejects me, and does not receive my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

From now on I do not call you servants; for the servant does not know what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

For I have given to them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

The woman said to him, I know that Messiah is coming, who is called Christ: when he comes, he will tell us all things.

Then said Jesus to them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of my own will; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.

For Moses truly said to the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up to you from your kindred, like me; him shall you hear in all things whatever he shall say to you.

This is that Moses, who said to the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up to you from your people, like me; him shall you hear.

The LORD your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your people, like unto me; unto him you shall listen;

And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the LORD: for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up into the mount;) saying,

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

By so much was Jesus made a guarantee of a better covenant.
